What Does Black Radicality Look Like on Valentine's Day?

Join us by candle light in The Tiny Bar to witness the reflective embrace of the shadows, corners, and underbelly of loves geography. Artist, poet, provocateur, and guest curator for the evening, Arnold J Kemp has posed the question, "What does Black Radicality Look Like on Valentine's Day". The combination of M Lamar's songs, CA Conrad's poems, and the premier of a new work by Kemp, form unexpected angles to address the issue with clarity. Raw, precise and with beautiful honesty, these three artists will present an excavation of the intersections of love, sex, race, gender, consumption, and desire. This Valentine's Day slips into night at Black Iris.
