Kaleidoscope: Richmond 1968


How does the Richmond community respond to the announcement of a Monroe Park puppy burning on an October afternoon in 1968? A docudrama by Vivian Barnes, Karolina Castro, Alan Corbett, Hayley Gray-Hoehn, Andrew Jones, and Kelsey Mickelson, students in the course “Richmond 1968.”  The performance will take place at Black Iris, 321 W. Broad St., on Tuesday April 22 from 8:00-9:30.  A panel discussion will follow the performance, featuring historian Julian Hayter as moderator; artist and producer Chuck Wrenn; VCU library archivist Ray Bonis; Richmond Magazine's Harry Kollatz, and student playwright Vivian Barnes.
